After watching the first episode of the new Emma adaptation, I couldn't resist making some icons :) Emma is not my favourite Austen novel, but I actually quite liked it - Romola Garai makes a good Emma (better than Gwyneth Paltrow at least), although I believe Mr Knightley will have to grow on me this time. I know I shouldn't be comparing Jonny Lee Miller's portrayal to Jeremy Northam's (who will always remain my Mr Knightley I guess ;D) but it's difficult not to. However I'm quite sure I'll grow to like him better in the following episodes! I also loved the introduction bit about Emma's / Frank's and Jane's childhood, completely different than in other adaptations I believe. And Tamsin Greig was really great as Miss Bates :)
